Sr. Manager, CoE NPI Supply Chain (M5) leads a team of NPI Supply Chain Program Managers within the New Product Commercialization organization to bridge Center of Excellence development with Global Supply Chain and business units. The role involves managing product sourcing strategies, driving supplier portfolio decisions, ensuring cost performance, and integrating technology innovations into new product programs. Key responsibilities include commodity management, contract negotiations, risk mitigation, and manufacturing readiness for semiconductor capital equipment. The role requires expertise in supply chain resiliency, cost reduction roadmaps, and cross-functional alignment across engineering and operations. Essential skills include people leadership, program management, and deep knowledge of the semiconductor domain, including lead-times, shortage management, and high-volume manufacturing transitions.
Negotiate complex commercial agreements including pricing, MSAs, SOWs, and TCO optimization.
Oversee the transition of technology innovations from development into new product programs.
Personally manage high-impact NPI sourcing programs while overseeing the broader program portfolio.
Drive cost performance by governing should-cost models and executing cost reduction roadmaps.
Ensure supply chain resiliency through dual sourcing, risk mitigation, and lab qualification management.
Lead executive governance and communicate complex project status to senior stakeholders.
What we're looking for
BA/BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is required; an MS or MBA is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in NPI Supply Chain, Program Management, and/or Sourcing is required.
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a direct people-management role is required.
Experience in the semiconductor industry is strongly preferred.
Preferred expertise includes RF power, box assemblies, or outsourcing to contract manufacturers including CM selection and HVM ramp readiness.
Ability to lead teams independently while remaining hands-on in program execution within a complex corporate environment is required.
Proficiency in supply chain functions such as risk mitigation, cost performance, and manufacturing/logistics fundamentals is required.
Proven ability to communicate with executive stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, finance, and operations is required.
