Senior Manager, Accounts Payable

What you'll do

• Review and approve vendor invoices and purchase orders according to company policy and three-way match requirements.
• Execute timely and accurate vendor payments while ensuring compliance with cash management guidelines.
• Manage, verify, and audit vendor bank account information to prevent fraud and data discrepancies.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries by communicating with internal business units and external vendors.
• Develop and conduct training for employees regarding company vendor payment policies and processes.
• Lead the accounts payable month-end closing process in collaboration with other departments.
• Manage risk management reporting, including fraud prevention, control gap analysis, and audit preparation.
• Manage and mentor team members while overseeing daily operations to meet established KPIs and deadlines.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in Accounts Payable, vendor management, or a similar field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in people management and supervising staff activities.
• Proven record of leading innovative process improvement projects.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system (preferred).
• AI tool implementation and usage skills in the job function (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, V-lookups, and Pivot tables.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
