Senior Manager, Programmatic Tech Operations

What you'll do

• Build and lead Pinterest’s Programmatic Tech Operations by establishing scalable processes, team structures, and best practices.
• Oversee the execution, troubleshooting, and optimization of programmatic campaigns to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Serve as the technical expert for programmatic platforms including DSPs, SSPs, auction mechanics, and integrations.
• Analyze large datasets using Excel and BI tools to identify opportunities for process and performance improvements.
• Manage vendor partnerships and monitor emerging AdTech trends to keep Pinterest at the forefront of the industry.
• Develop and lead high-performing teams while managing growth initiatives and fostering accountability.
• Deliver internal training and executive presentations to communicate complex technical topics and platform updates.
• Implement AI and machine learning capabilities to improve operational efficiency and campaign optimization.

What we're looking for

• Must have 10+ years of experience in digital media, ad tech, or related industries.
• Must have 5+ years of experience leading high-performing and/or large-scale technical operations teams.
• Requires demonstrated expertise in programmatic advertising, including DSPs, SSPs, auction mechanics, and deal types.
• Requires strong technical skills in ad servers, tag management, data integrations, and measurement tools like Google Ad Manager or DV360.
• Must possess advanced data literacy to analyze large datasets using Excel and BI or Tableau platforms.
• Requires experience developing scalable processes and cross-functional workflows in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Preferred knowledge of API integrations and custom platform connections is required.
• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as digital media or sales, or equivalent professional experience.
