What you'll do

Provide technical recommendations to management and clients regarding architectural design and development of mainframe systems.
Architect custom solutions to meet specific customer technology needs and infrastructure requirements.
Execute complex product integration demonstrations and proofs of concept tailored to client environments.
Develop technical specifications, requirements documentation, and implementation plans for Broadcom software products.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide post-implementation support for mainframe infrastructure.
Perform hardware and software comparative evaluations for various infrastructure solutions.
Write scripts or code in REXX, COBOL, or HLASM to solve conversion issues and enhance system capabilities.
Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to both internal teams and external customers.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8+ years of related experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of related experience.
10+ years of experience with z/OS.
10+ years of experience with Broadcom Software mainframe products or similar.
Proficiency in REXX and/or HLASM programming languages is required.
Ability to provide coding for COBOL or HLASM to enhance capabilities and exits.
Understanding of major subsystems such as JES, CICS, MQ series, DB2, IMS, and VSAM.
Familiarity with BMC, IBM, and Rocket mainframe products (preferred).
Experience with z/VSE and z/VM (preferred).
