What you'll do

Design software solutions and perform complex debugging using advanced problem-solving and engineering judgment.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring adherence to defined constraints.
Analyze large datasets to produce visualizations and reporting that drive continuous system improvements.
Improve service reliability through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and secure-by-design engineering practices.
Develop reusable services and shared components to ensure consistency and scalability across multiple teams.
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies through communities of practice to deliver measurable business value.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience delivering production-grade software applications.
Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages, including depth in at least one.
Experience developing distributed applications using Java 8+, RESTful APIs, microservices, and Spring Boot.
Experience building multi-threaded, high-throughput, mission-critical systems with performance and latency considerations.
Experience with cloud-native application development on GCP or private clouds.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows including data sensitivity and security.
Experience developing and maintaining code in large enterprise environments using modern programming languages and database query languages.
