What you'll do

Develop, design, and troubleshoot high-quality production code across multiple technical areas.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for AI-generated outputs including secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system operational stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical feasibility.
Lead communities of practice to promote awareness and adoption of leading-edge technologies.
Architect, deploy, and operate cloud-native services using AWS infrastructure.
Perform code reviews and debug software written by other team members.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
5+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity and secure handling within engineering workflows.
Advanced proficiency in Java (including Java 17) and other programming languages.
In-depth knowledge of Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and building SOAP/RESTful Web Services.
Strong experience architecting, deploying, and operating cloud-native services on AWS.
Proficiency in CI/CD, automation, web security protocols (OAUTH2/ADFS), and Agile methodologies.
