What you'll do

Design and deliver end-to-end software solutions to solve complex technical challenges with scalable implementations.
Architect and build cloud-native, Spring Boot-based microservices with clear domain boundaries and resilient APIs.
Lead the design and implementation of event-driven microservices using Kafka for real-time processing.
Develop secure production code and raise engineering standards through code reviews and hands-on technical leadership.
Strengthen production stability by driving root-cause remediation and automating recurring operational workflows.
Lead structured evaluations with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural fit and technical credibility.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation and the value realized by engineering workflows.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Advanced Java expertise with hands-on Spring Boot experience building and operating production microservices.
Demonstrated experience applying domain-driven design to structure microservices and manage distributed system integrations.
Proven experience designing and operating event-driven architectures, including Kafka-based streaming and asynchronous communication patterns.
Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, automated testing, and production support for mission-critical services.
Proficiency with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices and automation to improve quality and delivery speed.
Strong command of secure software development practices, resiliency engineering, and production-readiness standards for microservices.
Practical experience building and operating cloud-native applications, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Cloud Foundry.
