Senior IT Field Engineer

What you'll do

• Provide hands-on IT assistance for software, hardware, and collaboration tools like Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis to identify systemic issues and reduce ticket volume.
• Manage core services including endpoint management for macOS and Windows, networking, VPN, and identity tools like Okta.
• Develop and modify automation scripts using PowerShell or Python to streamline routine IT tasks.
• Provide on-site support for end-user devices, conference room A/V setups, and office network connectivity.
• Update documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles to ensure global service desk consistency.
• Experiment with AI technologies to assist with troubleshooting, data collection, and proactive issue detection.

What we're looking for

• BA/BS in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Up to 3-5 years of experience in a Service Desk or Field Support role.
• Strong skills in Google Workspace administration, endpoint management, Zoom, and identity/access management tools.
• Hands-on experience supporting macOS and Windows devices, SaaS applications, VPN, and enterprise collaboration platforms.
• Working knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar) or using automation tools to streamline IT operations.
• Proven commitment to providing exceptional user support with empathy and technical accuracy.
• Proactive approach to adopting new support technologies and improving daily IT operations.
