IT Field Service Technician

What you'll do

• Provide advanced technical support for computing hardware, software, and network connectivity in a manufacturing environment.
• Lead and oversee computer and hardware deployments including setup, configuration, and testing.
• Resolve complex IT incidents and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues and service processes.
• Deliver end-user training to support staff with technology usage.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for IT service delivery.
• Serve as a technical escalation point and provide backup support for the Field Service Manager.

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years of experience in IT field services or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency supporting Windows and macOS systems, hardware troubleshooting, printing solutions, software installation, and basic network configuration.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documentation and user support in high-pressure situations.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on enterprise IT experience (preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in IT field services or related roles (preferred).
• Experience supporting AV equipment, print services, asset management, and executive-level users (preferred).
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (preferred).
