IT Field Service Technician

What you'll do

• Provide advanced technical support for client computing, hardware, software, and network connectivity in a manufacturing environment.
• Lead and oversee computer and hardware deployments including setup, configuration, and testing.
• Respond to and resolve IT incidents while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and deliver end-user training as needed.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for IT service delivery.
• Serve as a technical escalation point and backup support for the IT Field Service Manager.
• Leverage AI tools to drive efficiency in support and troubleshooting tasks.

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years of experience in IT field services or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency supporting Windows and macOS systems, hardware troubleshooting, printing solutions, software installation, and basic network configuration.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with experience resolving complex technical issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document processes and support users in high-pressure situations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on enterprise IT experience (preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in IT field services or related role (preferred).
• Experience supporting AV equipment, print services, asset management, and executive-level users (preferred).
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (preferred).
