The Sr. IT Director, Surgical OU & Digital Solutions serves as a senior technology leader for the Surgical Operating Unit and Digital Therapy Portfolios. This role involves leading hyperautomation capabilities across multiple organizations, including Quality and Clinical Medical and Regulatory groups. You will partner with business and technology leaders to define digital strategies, translate business goals into technology roadmaps, and manage large-scale portfolios. Key responsibilities include overseeing budgeting, risk management, and the delivery of scalable digital solutions. You will specifically drive the adoption of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, intelligent automation, and advanced analytics. The role requires expertise in data platforms and digital transformation to solve complex operational problems and improve performance across a global portfolio of surgical and digital therapy technologies.
Serve as the primary IT business partner for the Surgical Operating Unit to align technology investments with business objectives.
Develop and execute technology roadmaps, operating plans, and digital transformation strategies across the Surgical portfolio.
Lead Hyperautomation initiatives to deliver scalable and compliant technology solutions across multiple organizations.
Identify and scale Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and advanced analytics initiatives to create measurable business value.
Direct portfolio delivery activities including budgeting, risk management, dependency management, and outcome tracking.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement of digital solutions.
Lead and develop global teams, contractors, and strategic partners through talent development and succession planning.
What we're looking for
Must possess a Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience and 10+ years of managerial experience.
Must possess an advanced degree with 13+ years of experience and 10+ years of managerial experience.
Must have experience leading digital transformation initiatives involving AI, intelligent automation, analytics, data platforms, or advanced digital technologies.
Must have experience developing technology strategies, roadmaps, and operating plans aligned to business objectives.
Must have experience leading large-scale technology portfolios, programs, or organizational initiatives.
Must have experience managing budgets, risks, and cross-functional stakeholder relationships in a matrixed environment.
Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.
Experience implementing AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, or intelligent automation solutions in a business environment (preferred).
