Sr. Facilities Service Manager, Data Center - Electrical (M3) leads the onsite electrical service and maintenance team responsible for mission-critical power infrastructure. This role focuses on maintenance execution, operational readiness, and uptime protection rather than system design. The manager oversees a team of technicians to perform troubleshooting, repairs, and switching support for critical equipment including switchgear, UPS systems, batteries, generators, and distribution components. Lead a team of technicians in performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mission-critical electrical infrastructure.
Manage day-to-day operations for technicians including work prioritization, coaching, performance management, and technical development.
Build and improve an in-house self-perform maintenance program including procedures, training, and execution standards.
Oversee the maintenance of critical equipment such as switchgear, UPS systems, batteries, generators, and power distribution units.
Enforce electrical safety programs and ensure strict compliance with NFPA 70E and lockout/tagout protocols.
Manage vendor performance, service level agreements, and contract execution for external electrical service scopes.
Track and report key performance indicators regarding maintenance execution, equipment health, and incident response effectiveness.
Support emergency response, outage planning, and post-event reviews to improve site resilience and reduce repeat failures.
What we're looking for
Must be a U.S. citizen.
10+ years of experience in the field is required.
3–5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, critical facilities, or industrial power systems.
1–3+ years of experience leading technicians or electrical service teams.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related fields (preferred); equivalent trade and leadership experience also valued.
Experience with mission-critical infrastructure including switchgear, UPS, batteries, generators, and distribution equipment (preferred).
Journeyman or Master Electrician license where applicable (preferred).
NFPA 70E training, OSHA 30, and NETA or NICET credentials are preferred.
