The Sr Engineering Support Specialist joins the engineering team to support complex research and product development projects. What you'll do

Design, develop, and analyze systems, software, and equipment layouts for product development.
Troubleshoot technical issues during research and development phases.
Analyze project effects on engineering, facilities, and labor pools to determine cost-efficient resource methods.
Develop, implement, install, and test complex equipment and systems.
Operate complex systems and provide technical support for experiment design.
Set up, monitor, and document experiments and laboratory equipment.
Maintain and repair laboratory equipment and related hardware.
Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous process improvement and innovation.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance within a reasonable time.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of experience.
Demonstrate narrowly focused in-depth technical level of practical operational process knowledge in a specific engineering area.
Demonstrate technical competence in the setup, monitoring, and documentation of experiments and/or lab equipment.
Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task (preferred).
Commitment to ongoing professional development (preferred).
Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success (preferred).
