What you'll do

Perform requirements analysis, definition, management, and functional/performance analysis for D5LE2 subsystems.
Utilize MBSE and digital engineering tools to develop and maintain system architectures and designs.
Identify and resolve system design weaknesses to support engineering decision-making for long-duration programs.
Conduct technical planning, cost and risk analyses, and supportability evaluations for system elements.
Develop and allocate system requirements to lower-level components and hardware.
Research vendor products, COTS components, and specifications to determine design feasibility.
Support modeling and simulation activities in alignment with program objectives.
Evaluate systems against government security specifications to ensure designs meet accreditation requirements.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
Proficiency in systems engineering principles and the full system development life cycle for major defense programs.
Expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering concepts.
Proficiency with system modeling tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, or DOORS.
Experience in requirements management, analysis, and definition.
Strong technical communication skills to present findings and negotiate solutions with stakeholders.
