What you'll do

Define and lead the engineering strategy for high-volume customer authentication platforms with strict availability targets.
Provide firmwide architectural governance and advisory for Identity and Access Management (IAM) using OIDC, SAML2, and FIDO2 protocols.
Own and evolve full-stack architecture across application, data, and infrastructure layers including Java services and APIs.
Review and validate solution designs to ensure security, scalability, and performance across all environments.
Manage execution for multiple concurrent enterprise initiatives while managing delivery priorities, dependencies, and technical risks.
Make high-level decisions regarding resourcing, budget, tactical operations, and the implementation of internal processes.
Lead and mentor globally distributed engineering teams to foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
Scale multi-department strategies for agentic AI-enabled engineering and SDLC automation to improve speed and reliability.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within a domain of expertise.
Experience in enterprise architecture leadership for large-scale platforms across application, data, and infrastructure layers.
Hands-on software engineering background with the ability to write, review, and troubleshoot production-grade code in Java and related technologies.
Demonstrated leadership of mission-critical, high-volume customer-facing platforms.
Proven ability to manage technical program execution, including concurrent initiatives, dependencies, and delivery risk.
Experience leading multi-organization adoption of agentic AI-enabled engineering operating models and understanding of responsible AI risks.
Experience in IAM and customer authentication with OIDC, SAML2, and FIDO2 (preferred); excellent executive communication skills (preferred).
