Senior Director of Engineering, Mixed Media Authoring

What you'll do

• Deliver state-of-the-art multimedia creation tools for imaging, motion, typography, and composition.
• Integrate generative AI features like intelligent layouts and motion design into the authoring experience.
• Lead the development of editor frameworks, rendering engines, document models, and asset pipelines.
• Create cohesive end-to-end user journeys that unify video, audio, graphics, text, and images.
• Ensure high performance, low latency, and global reliability for millions of concurrent users.
• Build and scale a large, geo-distributed engineering organization of over 200 people.
• Mentor senior leaders and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
• Define and communicate the technical vision across multiple teams and disciplines.

What we're looking for

• Proven leadership of large-scale engineering organizations of 200+ people across multiple geographies.
• Experience delivering creative tools, multimedia platforms, or consumer applications at a global scale.
• Deep expertise in graphics and imaging, motion and video authoring, or typography and layout systems.
• Demonstrated success integrating AI/ML into product experiences, specifically generative or design intelligence capabilities.
• Strong technical foundation in editor infrastructure including rendering systems, document models, and asset pipelines.
• Ability to set a clear technical vision while driving disciplined execution across multiple teams.
• Experience building diverse, high-performing teams and mentoring senior leaders.
• Exceptional collaboration skills to align with design, product, research, and platform teams.
