Director, Engineering, Agentic Product

What you'll do

• Lead the engineering execution of Adobe's Agentic Product to ensure high-quality outputs and predictable delivery.
• Grow and lead a new engineering team responsible for building agentic product capabilities and technical strategy.
• Partner with product management to translate strategy into executable engineering plans and technical scopes.
• Design and deliver agent capabilities for in-app creative workflows and multi-step task execution.
• Establish and maintain the quality bar for agent behavior and systematic performance measurement.
• Coordinate with platform teams to implement evals, guardrails, data protection, and system reliability.
• Maintain fluency in emerging agentic standards and model capabilities to evolve engineering practices.

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of leading and scaling high-performing engineering teams to ship complex, high-quality user-facing AI products at scale.
• Deep experience in AI/ML product engineering, including working knowledge of LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and generative model limitations.
• Hands-on technical expertise to engage in architecture decisions, review designs, and recognize brittle agent behavior at the implementation level.
• Strong product sensibility to evaluate user experience and partner with Product and Design teams as a peer.
• Strong cross-functional leadership instincts with a history of effective partnership with Product, Design, and platform engineering teams.
• Experience with the quality, reliability, and trust requirements of shipping AI features to large consumer and enterprise audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change management and drive continuous innovation in engineering processes and practices.
• Experience working with LLM providers or contributing to AI product strategy (preferred).
