What you'll do

Design, develop, and test software applications to deliver advanced data analytics capabilities.
Develop database architectures that ensure system scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
Design and document database applications including interfaces, data transfer mechanisms, and data partitions.
Build and maintain ETL data pipelines using Spark on Snowflake or Databricks.
Implement data modeling solutions using relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases.
Troubleshoot and fix bugs for major software applications with minimal oversight.
Mentor junior team members by providing technical guidance and coaching.
Communicate clear project plans, designs, and status updates to business stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering.
High School Diploma and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Proficiency in Spark on Snowflake or Databricks.
Proficiency in Python, Scala, and SQL development.
Experience with ETL data pipelines and designing data modeling solutions for relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases.
Experience with Big Data file formats (Parquet, Avro, Delta Lake) and Cloud Infrastructure services (AWS, SQS, S3, GitLab).
Authorized to work in country where work will be performed on a full or part-time basis.
