What you'll do

Design, develop, and test software applications to provide advanced data analytics capabilities for the organization.
Build scalable database architectures that ensure system security, performance, and reliability.
Create and document database applications including interfaces, data transfer mechanisms, and data partitions.
Develop ETL data pipelines using Spark on Snowflake or Databricks with Python, Scala, and SQL.
Implement data modeling solutions across relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases.
Troubleshoot complex software issues, debug code, and resolve technical problems independently.
Mentor junior team members by providing coaching and technical guidance.
Develop RestAPI integrations and optimize Tableau visualizations for business reporting.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering, or a High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Spark on Snowflake or Databricks.
Experience in Python, Scala, and SQL development.
Expertise in building ETL data pipelines and designing data modeling solutions for relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of Big Data file formats including Parquet, Avro, and Delta Lake.
Experience with Cloud Infrastructure services such as AWS, SQS, S3, and GitLab.
Proficiency in RestAPI development and Tableau performance optimization.
Authorized to work in country where work will be performed on a full or part-time basis.
