What you'll do

Design and develop end-to-end cloud data lakes including ingestion, modeling, and distribution.
Build data integrations and hand-offs between on-premises and cloud-based systems.
Develop high-volume data ingestion components to collect data from various sources.
Implement cloud infrastructure to support current and future business requirements.
Execute technical design, application builds, configuration, unit testing, and production deployment.
Optimize cloud solutions for cost efficiency, performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
Set up data pipelines for ELT jobs across multiple data sources.
Troubleshoot and resolve big-data processing and database performance issues.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience in professional software design and development.
Experience in Financial Services designing and developing large-scale enterprise applications using cloud-based data engineering platforms.
Proficiency in PL/SQL, Java/J2EE, Python, Scala, and PERL/scripting.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably using Databricks (preferred).
Experience in data modeling, database design, and setting up data pipelines for ELT jobs.
Strong knowledge of Cloud Security in AWS/Azure, including IAM Roles, Security Groups, and Encryption keys.
Proficiency with CICD and DevOps.
