Senior Data Architect

What you'll do

• Architect the vision for an Enterprise Ontology and Semantic Layer that serves as a central source of truth for Agentic AI systems.
• Design and deploy semantic abstraction layers using native capabilities like Snowflake Semantic Views to expose canonical data via intelligent APIs.
• Lead the design and consolidation of foundational data domains into unified Canonical Models within Silver/Gold layers, matching data from heterogeneous sources.
• Implement modern lakehouse patterns including stream processing and schema-on-read ingestion to feed canonical layers seamlessly.
• Partner with ML/DevOps teams to architect MLOps processes ensuring context data is continuously updated and monitored in production.
• Develop and enforce enterprise-wide standards for metadata management through automated frameworks, enabling semantic consistency across AI and traditional BI queries.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years experience in data engineering and architecture for enterprise systems.
• Proven track record designing, scaling, and implementing canonical models and semantic layers on large-scale data lakes/lakehouses.
• Deep architectural knowledge of at least one modern cloud data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric).
• Advanced skills in various data modeling paradigms including relational, dimensional, and graph-native concepts.
• Ability to build, maintain, and version-control enterprise ontologies or semantic maps.
• Solid understanding of financial operations for optimizing cloud resource consumption.
