Sr Cloud Solution Architecture - Identity joins the Defense Industrial Base team to accelerate security transformation for strategic customers in manufacturing, aviation, and cybersecurity. This role involves designing and implementing Zero Trust architectures, modern identity solutions, and integrated security platforms to enhance cyber resilience and protect mission-critical workloads. The architect will drive adoption of Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and Privileged Identity Management while guiding customers through complex migrations in classified environments. Key responsibilities include developing governance frameworks for secure AI adoption, managing identity lifecycles, and conducting technical design workshops. The role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, security architecture, and compliance frameworks. Candidates will utilize tools like Microsoft Defender and Entra to move customers from reactive defense to proactive threat protection while ensuring secure access to data and applications.
Design and implement Zero Trust architectures and modern identity solutions for Defense Industrial Base customers.
Drive adoption of Microsoft Security products including Entra, Defender XDR, Sentinel, and Privileged Identity Management.
Lead complex modernization initiatives involving cloud migrations and high-side environment security architecture.
Facilitate executive and technical design workshops to align stakeholders on cybersecurity strategy and platform adoption.
Enable customers to operationalize identity lifecycle management, conditional access, and multi-factor authentication.
Design governance frameworks and secure copilots to support safe AI adoption and data protection.
Provide technical leadership to improve threat detection, response, and regulatory compliance for strategic accounts.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field or equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting, systems administration, network operations, software development, architecture, or consulting.
Must be willing and able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
Must provide verification of U.S. citizenship due to legal restrictions.
Deep understanding of Microsoft security products including Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and XDR (preferred).
Ability to guide customers through Zero Trust architecture and compliance frameworks (preferred).
Experience delivering Enterprise Security Assessments and Well-Architected reviews (preferred).
One or more certifications such as SC-100, SC-200, AZ-500, AI-900, or Copilot for Security (preferred).
