As a Cloud Solution Architect - Data Security, you will join a team focused on driving customer security transformation across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms. In this customer-facing role, you will own the technical relationship and strategy, leading architectural discussions with executives and developers to secure technology estates. You will build end-to-end value propositions for Zero Trust, design security architectures, and manage implementations of essential controls like Identity and Access Management, Threat Protection, and Information Protection. Day-to-day tasks include performing hands-on activities with tools such as Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and Azure Active Directory. You will also conduct Architectural Design Sessions to ensure solutions are secure by design while troubleshooting technical issues to improve security posture and accelerate the business value of cloud adoption across various enterprise environments.
Deliver an end-to-end value proposition for Zero Trust across the breadth of Microsoft Security offerings.
Guide customers through their security adoption journey by defining strategies and implementing controls for Azure and M365.
Perform hands-on technical evaluations of native security solutions like Microsoft 365 Defender, Sentinel, and Azure Active Directory.
Ensure Azure deployments follow "Secure by Design" and "Well-Architected" frameworks to improve security posture and scalability.
Lead Architectural Design Sessions to create implementation plans aligned with customer business goals and technical environments.
Act as a Voice of Customer to share insights with internal engineering teams and influence the product roadmap.
Troubleshoot technical issues to demonstrate the value of implemented security technologies.
Orchestrate necessary technical resources to deliver successful business outcomes for enterprise customers.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Must have 2+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting, systems administration, network operations, software development, or architecture.
Must have 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
Must have 2+ years of experience working on technical projects.
Experience in security and expertise in concepts like Zero Trust, threat management, SOC monitoring, EDR, and Cloud Security Architecture.
Knowledge of cloud security platforms and enterprise-scale technical experience with emerging cloud security trends.
Certifications in Azure Security, Cloud Security, OCSP, GIAC, or Incident Response (preferred); 6-8+ years of relevant experience (preferred).
