What you'll do

Design, build, operate, and maintain automation, control, and SCADA systems for ground infrastructure and utility systems.
Manage control and automation upgrades to scale systems for Starship production rate targets.
Develop and deploy standardized automation for critical power and utility systems.
Design, develop, and manage full-lifecycle automation projects from initial trade to commissioning and training.
Design and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications in high-reliability production and launch environments.
Create and modify electrical and pneumatic schematics using tools like EPLAN or AutoCAD.
Design industrial electrical control panels that comply with NFPA 79, NEC, and UL 508A standards.
Develop Statements of Work (SOW) and manage contractor work to meet production needs.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another engineering discipline.
5+ years of experience designing, analyzing, and working on automation and control systems.
Professional Engineering (PE) license or intent to pursue one (preferred).
8+ years of professional experience in a similar role (preferred).
Experience with HMI applications using Ignition, and familiarity with SEL, Allen Bradley, and Siemens control devices (preferred).
Proficiency in electrical schematic CAD tools like EPlan or AutoCAD, and programming in C#, .NET, Python, or SQL (preferred).
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, IT/OT network design, and IEC-61131 programming (preferred).
U.S. citizen.
