What you'll do

Architect, write, and debug structured PLC code for manufacturing applications.
Design and lay out industrial electrical control panels compliant with NFPA79/NEC/UL508A standards.
Develop robot systems to automate the manufacturing of various vehicle sub-components.
Create electrical, pneumatic, and fluid schematics for production machinery.
Implement compliant safety systems for robots, gantries, conveyors, and other equipment.
Design aesthetically simple HMI screens to provide troubleshooting feedback for complex machinery.
Manage electrical cabinet builds, field wiring, and pneumatic or fluid plumbing.
Select and size electrical and electromechanical components such as servo motors and controllers.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
1+ years experience in the design and commissioning of automation and controls systems for industrial applications.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee eligible for Department of State authorization.
Experience in process integration and electromechanical/mechatronic systems (preferred).
Experience in robotic weld applications (Kuka, ABB & Fanuc) and robot/PLC simulation (preferred).
Experience with National Instruments hardware/software, EPlan CAD, and C#, .NET, Python, or SQL (preferred).
Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCat 3, HMI/SCADA, and field bus networks (preferred).
Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and perform physical requirements including lifting 50lbs.
