This role requires a strong focus on safety and the ability to work long hours in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and manage automation projects for high-volume production.
  • Manage specifications, cost, lead-time, installation, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Implement ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant safety systems and strategies.
  • Collaborate with mechanical designers to create system requirements and architecture.
  • Debug, root-cause, and continuously improve equipment in high-rate production environments.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for hand-off to operational teams.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in designing and commissioning controls systems for industrial applications.
  • Proficient in robot programming, preferably with ABB robots.
  • Expertise in PLC programming using Beckhoff TwinCAT or Siemens TIA Portal.
  • Experience with HMI and SCADA programming, ideally Ignition or Beckhoff TwinCAT HMI.
  • Knowledge of NEC, UL508A codes and safety standards compliance (ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA).
  • Exposure to a variety of industrial machinery and fast-paced iterative design environments.
  • Ability to automate the aggregation of metrics into dashboards and alerting systems.
