Senior Automation & Controls Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and manage end-to-end automation projects for high-volume manufacturing.
• Manage specifications, costs, lead times, and commissioning for new production equipment.
• Own safety strategy and implement systems compliant with ANSI/RIA15.06 and OSHA standards.
• Architect, write, and debug structured PLC code for industrial applications.
• Design electrical systems compliant with NEC, NFPA, and UL508A regulations.
• Manage electrical cabinet builds, field wiring, pneumatic plumbing, and fluid systems.
• Debug and perform root-cause analysis for equipment in high-rate production environments.
• Create HMI screens and equipment documentation to facilitate operation and troubleshooting.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in the design and commissioning of controls systems for industrial applications.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (or eligible for such authorization).
• Experience with process integration and electromechanical/mechatronic systems (preferred).
• Robot programming experience, preferably ABB (preferred).
• C#, .NET, Python, and/or SQL experience (preferred).
• PLC programming experience, preferably Beckhoff TwinCAT or Siemens TIA Portal (preferred).
• HMI and SCADA programming experience, preferably Ignition or Beckhoff TwinCAT HMI (preferred).
