What you'll do

Architect, write, and debug structured PLC code for manufacturing applications.
Design and implement controls network infrastructure and data acquisition system interfaces.
Design, operate, upgrade, and maintain SCADA infrastructure at launch and production sites.
Lay out industrial electrical control panels and create electrical, pneumatic, and fluid schematics.
Manage electrical cabinet builds, field wiring, pneumatic plumbing, and fluid plumbing.
Manage the checkouts and activation testing of new equipment.
Write scalable procedures to guide technicians in building and activating new control systems.
Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for critical ground support equipment and tooling.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechatronics engineering, or another engineering discipline.
5+ years of experience with instrumentation power systems design, data acquisition systems, or programmable controllers.
Ability to pass an Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral.
U.S. citizenship, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee status as required by ITAR.
Proficiency in electronics test rack design, data acquisition setup, or building electronics systems (preferred).
Experience with production machinery, industrial sensors, and equipment such as vision systems or laser distance sensors (preferred).
Experience building and commissioning high quality electrical control panels and electro-mechanical systems (preferred).
Experience with C#, .NET, Python, SQL, EPlan, Siemens TIA Portal, or Ignition software (preferred).
