What you'll do

Architect, write, and debug structured PLC code for manufacturing applications.
Design and lay out industrial electrical control panels compliant with NFPA79, NEC, and UL508A.
Develop robot systems to automate the manufacturing of various vehicle sub-components.
Create electrical, pneumatic, and fluid schematics for production machinery.
Implement compliant safety systems for robots, gantries, conveyors, and other equipment.
Select and size electrical and electromechanical components such as servo motors and controllers.
Manage electrical cabinet builds, field wiring, and pneumatic or fluid plumbing.
Deploy automated processes and equipment into the production environment.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
5+ years experience in the design and commissioning of automation and controls systems for industrial applications.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for Department of State authorization.
Master's degree in an engineering discipline (preferred).
Experience in process integration and electromechanical/mechatronic systems (preferred).
Experience with robotic weld applications, robot/PLC simulation, and National Instruments software/hardware (preferred).
Proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, SQL, and PLC programming with Siemens TIA Portal or Beckhoff TwinCat 3 (preferred).
Experience with electrical schematic CAD, HMI/SCADA, field bus networks, and NEC/NFPA 79/UL508A codes (preferred).
