What you'll do

  • Design and develop robot systems for automated manufacturing of vehicle sub-components.
  • Create user-friendly HMI screens for complex machinery to aid in troubleshooting.
  • Program PLCs using Siemens TIA Portal or Beckhoff TwinCat 3 software.
  • Simulate robotic weld applications and other industrial processes.
  • Integrate National Instruments hardware and software into automation solutions.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years experience in designing and commissioning automation and controls systems for industrial applications.
  • Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience with robotic weld applications (Kuka, ABB & Fanuc).
  • Proficiency in robot and PLC simulation, National Instruments software/hardware, Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCat 3.
  • Extensive exposure to production machinery, sensors, and equipment including vision systems, dispense systems, temperature controllers.
