What you'll do

Develop advanced communication subsystem hardware and software for space, ground, and airborne applications.
Lead requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability from customer specifications to system-level requirements.
Generate design documentation including technical specifications, interface control documents, and test plans.
Manage multi-disciplined engineering teams and subcontractors to deliver new technical capabilities.
Lead system integration, verification, and qualification events to ensure technical performance and quality.
Develop and present project design reviews for internal teams and external customer audiences.
Manage project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and subcontract controls.
Participate in RFI and RFP processes to support new business development and technical demonstrations.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience, Graduate Degree and 2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
Active US Secret Security Clearance.
Experience in requirements management and documentation is a must.
Strong written and oral communication skills and formal presentation skills are required.
Leadership skills to guide technical direction and contribute to integrated product teams (preferred).
Working knowledge of digital, RF, mechanical, network, or software design for satellite communication systems (preferred).
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
