Specialist, Systems Engineer, Networking

What you'll do

• Manage system and subsystem-level requirements specifications using tools like DOORS.
• Maintain bi-directional traceability between customer requirements and verification artifacts.
• Develop network architecture, interface definitions, and IP-based communications designs.
• Analyze system performance, connectivity, and interoperability requirements.
• Create and maintain verification matrices to support system validation activities.
• Perform verification by analysis efforts for mission-critical systems.
• Resolve technical issues by collaborating with engineering disciplines, customers, and suppliers.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline with at least 4 years of relevant systems engineering experience.
• Graduate degree in a related technical discipline with at least 2 years of relevant systems engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
• Experience managing system and subsystem-level requirements using tools such as DOORS.
• Experience supporting network engineering activities including architecture development, interface definition, and IP-based communications design.
• Experience creating verification matrices and supporting system verification and validation activities.
• Experience preparing for and supporting design reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
