Specialist, Network Systems Engineering

What you'll do

• Manage the full life-cycle support of protected SATCOM data link systems from development to phase-out.
• Perform requirements analysis and management using tools like DOORS.
• Provide design oversight and synthesis within a multi-functional engineering environment.
• Develop and execute system-wide integration and verification tests.
• Support system deployment and provide in-house technical support during the operational life-cycle.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches.
• Create technical documentation and design drawings using Microsoft Visio.
• Provide on-call support for 24/7 operational systems.

What we're looking for

• Ability to obtain a Top Secret (SCI) security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with network device configuration and troubleshooting, ideally Cisco IOS/IOS-XE (preferred).
• Professional certification specific to the networking industry such as CCNA or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience with network design, architecture, specifications, and equipment selection (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
