What you'll do

Design software based on requirements documents and system-level design documents.
Implement software for embedded Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) using C++.
Develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware, firmware, software, and operational performance requirements.
Investigate root causes of complex issues and implement solutions independently or with a multi-discipline team.
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle from requirements analysis to formal test.
Develop software test plans, procedures, and other relevant technical documentation.
Utilize modeling tools and equipment to conduct experimental tests and evaluate results.
Participate in peer reviews to identify, track, and repair software defects.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 4 years of engineering experience.
Associate Degree with 5 years of engineering experience or Graduate Degree with 2 years of related experience.
Minimum of 8 years of engineering-related experience in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the computer or software engineering field.
Minimum of 5 years of C++ development experience in a professional environment.
Active U.S. Secret Clearance.
Experience developing and testing real-time embedded software (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
