What you'll do

Lead and direct a team of software engineers through technical guidance and project direction.
Design embedded software based on requirements documents and system-level design specifications.
Develop high-performance C++ code for embedded Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
Manage Agile development processes, including leading meetings, tracking issues, and reporting status.
Investigate root causes of complex technical issues and implement solutions independently or with a team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop interfaces between hardware, firmware, and software.
Create software test plans, procedures, and other relevant technical documentation.
Use modeling tools and equipment to conduct experimental tests and evaluate prototype results.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 9 years of experience, a Master's with 7 years, or 13 years without a degree.
Active US Secret Security Clearance.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in the computer/software engineering field.
Minimum of 8 years of C++ development in a professional environment.
Minimum of 3 years leading software development teams.
Experience developing and testing real-time embedded software (preferred).
Familiarity with Greenhills RTOS (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
