What you'll do

Develop embedded software for space-based imaging payloads and complex space applications.
Manage the full software lifecycle including requirements, design, development, testing, and verification.
Participate in architecture reviews, design sessions, and code reviews.
Provide software support for units under test and on-orbit assets.
Implement algorithms, controls, and subsystems using C/C++ programming.
Follow Agile software development processes and engineering methodologies.
Communicate project status, milestones, and technical issues to leadership.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, a graduate degree with 2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
Minimum 1 year of software development experience in C/C++.
Active security clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance (must be a U.S. citizen).
Background in developing and maintaining satellite payloads (preferred).
Knowledge in space domain and applications (preferred).
Fundamental knowledge of computer architecture, networks, and multi-threaded applications on Real-Time Operating Systems (preferred).
Experience with SysML/UML, Python, Agile, DevSecOps, Jira, Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, and Confluence (preferred).
Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems (preferred).
