As a Senior Specialist Software Engineering (Embedded), you will join the Agile Development Group to lead the development and execution of software on embedded targeted hardware. What you'll do

Design and develop software for embedded hardware based on requirements and system design documents.
Implement advanced C++ code for embedded Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
Investigate root causes of complex technical issues and implement effective solutions independently or with a team.
Manage all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, integration, and formal testing.
Develop software test plans, procedures, and other relevant technical documentation.
Use modeling tools and equipment to conduct experimental tests and evaluate prototype results.
Participate in peer reviews to identify, track, and repair software defects.
Influence test automation by collaborating with the engineering team to define hardware and firmware interfaces.

What we're looking for

Must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience, a Graduate degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in the computer/software engineering field.
Minimum of 6 years of C++ development in a professional environment.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of War Security Clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen to be granted a security clearance.
Familiarity with Greenhills RTOS (preferred).
Experience developing device drivers and Board Support Packages for real-time embedded systems (preferred).
Experience with Modern C++ techniques and Agile Scrum/Kanban development processes (preferred).
