You will utilize modern C++, Python, and Linux environments while leveraging containerized tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm. Experience with Agile Scrum/Kanban processes and CI/CD automation is also required.

What you'll do

Design software based on requirements documents and system-level design documents.
Lead technical development of the software team, including agile story development and planning.
Develop software that interfaces with targeted hardware, firmware, and operational performance requirements.
Investigate root causes of complex issues and implement solutions independently or with multi-discipline teams.
Support all phases of the software development life cycle from requirements analysis to formal testing.
Interface with customers to understand requirements, provide software packages, and facilitate integration events.
Develop software test plans, procedures, and other relevant technical documentation.
Utilize modeling tools and equipment to conduct experimental tests and evaluate prototype results.

What we're looking for

Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience (4 years with a graduate degree, or 10 years without a degree).
Minimum of 6 years of experience in the computer/software engineering field.
Minimum of 6 years of C++ development in a professional environment.
Advanced skills in modern C++ and experience with Python.
Familiar with containerized development (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm) and Linux (preferred).
U.S. citizen.
