What you'll do

Translate project requirements into maintainable software solutions for C5 and Cyber Solution Centers.
Develop embedded software applications using C/C++ and Python on real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Investigate root causes of complex technical issues and implement effective solutions independently or with a team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and evaluate hardware-software interfaces and system performance.
Execute all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, and integration.
Create software test plans, procedures, and relevant technical documentation.
Use modeling tools and equipment to conduct experimental tests, prototype systems, and evaluate results.
Participate in peer reviews to identify, track, and repair software defects.

What we're looking for

Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
Graduate degree and 2 years of related experience.
Minimum 10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
At least 3 years of experience developing applications on simulated and target hardware.
Experience using a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) such as Green Hills Integrity or VxWorks.
Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for embedded real-time operating systems.
U.S. citizens.
