What you'll do

Develop and execute software on embedded targeted hardware using modern C++.
Design software based on requirements documents and system level design specifications.
Implement software for embedded Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
Create and document functional and unit test software following established coding standards.
Investigate root causes of complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle from requirements to formal testing.
Use modeling tools and equipment to conduct experimental tests and evaluate results.
Perform peer reviews to identify, track, and repair software defects.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience, a graduate degree and 2 years of experience, or no degree and 8 years of experience.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the computer/software engineering field.
Minimum of 4 years of C++ development in a professional environment.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of War Security Clearance.
Familiarity with Greenhills RTOS (preferred).
Experience developing device drivers and Board Support Packages for real-time embedded systems (preferred).
Experience with Modern C++ techniques (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
