Specialist, Electrical Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead and support electrical design teams in the development of new products.
• Translate product and system requirements into electrical requirements and specifications.
• Design electronic modules, including rigid and flexible PCBAs and related interconnects.
• Perform rapid prototyping and assembly to support concept demonstration hardware.
• Conduct circuit analysis, modeling, simulation, and timing analysis for electronic modules.
• Design for high reliability and harsh MIL-STD environments including shock, vibration, and extreme temperatures.
• Conduct design analysis and testing to prove requirements are met, including EMC testing.
• Lead root cause and corrective action teams to resolve technical issues.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
• Experience developing electrical engineering hardware within the defense, aerospace, or medical product fields (preferred).
• Expertise in electrical/electronic analog and digital circuit design, including power supply, sensor circuits, microprocessors, and FPGAs (preferred).
• Experience with EMI/EMC best design practices (preferred).
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language (preferred).
