Solution Engineer, Security

What you'll do

• Drive technical sales through demos and proofs of concept to influence solution design and production deployments.
• Lead hands-on engagements like hackathons and architecture workshops to accelerate adoption of developer tools.
• Co-design secure and scalable architectures with developers and platform leads.
• Resolve technical blockers and collaborate with engineering teams to improve product functionality.
• Maintain deep expertise in cloud security technologies including M365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel.
• Develop strategies to improve customer security posture and create tailored messaging for security opportunities.
• Create differentiated competition strategies for extended detection and response (XDR) and zero trust initiatives.
• Represent the company through thought leadership in developer communities and customer forums.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States that does not require employer sponsorship.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with 2+ years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience is required.
• A Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with 1+ year of technical pre-sales or consulting experience is required.
• Alternatively, 3+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience is required.
• Equivalent experience to the educational and professional requirements is accepted.
• 6+ years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery experience is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience with cloud/hybrid infrastructure, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management is preferred.
• Certifications in relevant technologies such as Office 365, Power BI, Azure, or Information Security are preferred.
