Solution Architect, Talent Technology Engineering

What you'll do

• Define and maintain the multi-year target architecture and roadmap for the HR technology ecosystem.
• Determine the boundary between third-party platform capabilities and internal first-party service development.
• Establish standard patterns for HR data models, API integrations, and identity access controls.
• Lead the architecture of foundational HR systems to serve as horizontal sources of truth.
• Define data ownership, lineage, and traceability for HR entities across all downstream consumers.
• Embed security, privacy, and regional data residency requirements into repeatable technical patterns.
• Influence engineering teams and vendors by reviewing solution designs against the target architecture.
• Identify and lead the decommissioning of redundant tools and low-value, high-cost components.

What we're looking for

• 8–12+ years of experience in enterprise engineering or architecture roles.
• Significant experience as a Solutions, HR Tech, or ERP architect.
• Hands-on experience architecting ecosystems with multiple 3P HR systems and custom 1P services.
• Deep understanding of at least one major HCM or HR suite, including Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.
• Understanding of modern integration patterns and data modeling for people/HR domains.
• Knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance expectations regarding employee data.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as a horizontal architect serving multiple teams.
• Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders with clear, data-driven arguments.
