Solution Architect

What you'll do

• Translate customer IT needs into actionable architecture plans, design specifications, and integration strategies.
• Develop solution architectures, technical roadmaps, and design documentation for systems across multiple domains.
• Provide technical leadership for the lifecycle of enterprise system architectures in distributed environments.
• Lead stakeholder workshops and technical meetings to communicate complex architectures in clear language.
• Integrate security and compliance frameworks like DoD STIGs, RMF, and NIST standards into design baselines.
• Define system-of-systems integration approaches, secure enclave architectures, and enterprise governance models.
• Mentor junior engineers to help them develop their skills as future architects.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience leading or supporting enterprise or mission-system architecture for defense, intelligence, or federal programs.
• Experience developing solution architectures and technical roadmaps integrating systems across multiple domains.
• Experience producing or governing architecture artifacts such as system views, interface specs, or decision records.
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks including DoD STIGs, RMF, and NIST 800-53/171.
• Ability to lead workshops, manage risks, and influence technical direction to build consensus.
• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM or Management field.
• CompTIA Security+ CE or INCOSE CSEP certification; TS/SCI clearance, CISSP, CISM, INCOSE ESEP, or ITIL Foundation (preferred).
