JOB TITLE: Solution Architect The Solution Architect joins the Small Business IT team to design and scale digital experiences from quote-to-bind-to-service. What you'll do

Create end-to-end solution designs for mobile, web, APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.
Develop innovative solution designs that align with corporate reference architectures and AI strategies.
Produce option analyses and decision records balancing security, reliability, complexity, and cost.
Design solutions using SaaS and Native Cloud architectures to modernize and rationalize assets.
Implement digital identity and zero-trust patterns while ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards.
Partner with value streams to ensure designs meet non-functional requirements like telemetry and SLOs.
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies that demonstrably improve business outcomes.
Manage architecture governance through reviews, permits to build, and conformance checks.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, or Senior Software Engineering within a large enterprise environment.
Experience in the Small Commercial Insurance industry.
Proven success designing and delivering cloud-based solutions in AWS and/or Google Cloud.
Experience with microservices, service-oriented architectures, and API/event-driven integrations (REST, SOAP).
Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Machine Learning, including LLMs, RAG, Semantic Search, Embedding Models, and Agentic AI architectures.
Knowledge of Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) and modern authentication standards like OAuth2 and OIDC.
Experience building modern web applications using Angular, React, or similar frameworks.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Cloud and Architecture certifications (preferred).
