The Architect, ERP & People Systems serves as the design authority for the finance and people systems portfolio. This hands-on individual contributor defines target-state architecture, technical standards, and reusable patterns to transition the organization toward a headless, AI-enabled application experience. The role involves designing the integration architecture for Workday HCM and Financials, Adaptive Planning, VNDLY, and Salesforce CRM, while managing data ownership, security models, and SOX compliance. Key responsibilities include building proofs of concept, defining API and event-driven patterns, and establishing responsible-AI requirements for financial and people data. The Architect utilizes SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and Workday Studio to ensure architectural integrity. This position solves the complex problem of connecting fragmented healthcare systems by modernizing enterprise business processes through automated, secure, and scalable technical roadmaps.

What we're looking for
10+ years of experience in enterprise applications, ERP, or solution architecture, including responsibility for business-critical finance or people systems.
Deep, hands-on expertise in Workday Financials or HCM, including business-process configuration, security, reporting, and integration frameworks.
Hands-on experience designing REST and SOAP APIs, event-driven and batch patterns, and tools like Workday EIB, Studio, and Orchestrate.
Strong SQL and data-modeling skills to design data flows, lineage, and reconciliation between operational systems and reporting tools.
Working knowledge of internal controls, privacy for financial/people data, and SOX or comparable audit requirements.
Experience designing automation or AI-enabled solutions for enterprise processes, including data-access controls and governance.
Ability to produce architecture artifacts such as target-state diagrams, integration designs, security models, and decision records.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
