The Solution Architect Program Manager drives advanced technology solutions from early concept through architecture definition, proof of concept, and productization planning. This role bridges the gap between feasibility and production by translating ambiguous innovations into clear requirements, integrated schedules, and launch-ready plans. You will manage cross-functional dependencies across engineering, hardware, firmware, software, security, and operations while leading technical tradeoff discussions to ensure designs are scalable and manufacturable. The position requires expertise in embedded systems, PC architecture, kernel-level software, and connectivity. Candidates should possess proficiency in C/C++, Python, and scripting languages, alongside experience with RTOS or Linux/Windows environments. You will navigate the complexities of edge AI, device orchestration, and system integration to move products from lab feasibility into scalable programs while managing risk registers, issue triage, and executive reporting for complex hardware and software product development.
Drive end-to-end solution programs from initial concept and feasibility through to productization and launch.
Translate ambiguous innovation concepts into clear technical requirements, scope, and execution plans.
Manage integrated schedules that align engineering deliverables with manufacturing readiness and launch timelines.
Lead technical tradeoff discussions to ensure designs are scalable, secure, and manufacturable.
Maintain program artifacts including risk registers, decision records, and validation plans.
Resolve technical dependencies and lead issue triage to keep programs on schedule.
Communicate project status, risks, and recovery plans to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Oversee the transition of innovation solutions into scalable products for commercial release.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
10+ years of experience in solution architecture, system software, embedded software, firmware, platform engineering, technical program management, or complex hardware/software product development.
Proven experience driving technical solutions from concept or POC through architecture alignment, productization planning, integration, validation, and launch.
Deep knowledge of embedded platforms, PC architecture, kernel-level software, device drivers, boot flows, and power management.
Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or other scripting languages for system software development and debugging.
Experience with SDLC practices including requirements definition, CI/CD pipelines, unit/integration testing, and security reviews.
Ability to manage integrated schedules, track dependencies, mitigate risks, and lead technical tradeoff discussions.
Exposure to AI-enabled device experiences, edge AI, or commercial PC innovation (preferred).
