What you'll do

  • Manage and support enterprise payment applications and integrations for domestic and international payments.
  • Lead a global 24x7 operation and participate in on-call rotations to support critical production events.
  • Oversee application releases, change management, production implementations, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Establish monitoring, observability, and proactive issue detection capabilities for mission-critical platforms.
  • Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, and technology teams.
  • Communicate application health, risks, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
  • Mentor team members and develop payment-domain expertise across geographically distributed teams.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience.
  • 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of prior management experience.
  • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, UNIX/Linux, Oracle SQL, DB2, IBM MQ, and Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs).
  • Experience with OpenShift Container Platform, MongoDB, Kafka, Elastic Search, and CA7 Scheduling.
  • Ability to lead geographically distributed teams and manage 24x7 global operations including on-call rotations.
  • Experience with application monitoring, log analysis, performance tuning, and incident/change management processes.
  • Preferred skills include Site Reliability Engineering, Payment Applications, Release Management, and UX Design.
