What you'll do

Manage and support enterprise payment applications and integrations for domestic, international, and digital asset payments.
Lead a global 24x7 operations team to ensure the stability of mission-critical payment platforms.
Participate in leadership escalation and on-call rotations to manage major incidents and critical production events.
Oversee application releases, change management, production implementations, and disaster recovery testing.
Develop automation solutions and establish monitoring capabilities to improve operational efficiency and proactive issue detection.
Ensure all systems comply with enterprise architecture, security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, payment operations, vendors, and technology teams.
Mentor team members and manage vendor relationships to drive modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience.
At least 5 years of industry-relevant experience.
At least 3 years of prior management experience.
Proficiency in Java/J2EE, UNIX/Linux, Oracle SQL, DB2, IBM MQ, and Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs).
Experience with OpenShift Container Platform, MongoDB, Kafka, and various monitoring and observability tools.
Ability to lead geographically distributed teams and manage vendor relationships.
Experience in payment applications, site reliability engineering, and release management (preferred).
Proficiency in Agile Development, Design Thinking, and Software Process Improvement (preferred).
