Software Engineering Manager, Site Reliability

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of SRE engineers to ensure the reliability and scalability of mission-critical platforms.
• Provide after-hours operational leadership and participate in an on-call rotation to support critical production services and major incidents.
• Manage end-to-end incident response for P1/P2 events, including real-time triage, diagnostics, and stakeholder communication.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and problem management to implement permanent fixes and eliminate recurring system issues.
• Oversee change management processes, including validating readiness, risk assessments, and representing the team in CAB reviews.
• Advance monitoring and observability by building dashboards and tuning alerting frameworks to improve signal-to-noise ratios.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual toil in incident remediation, deployment, and validation processes.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise governance, risk, and compliance standards for all infrastructure and application operations.

What we're looking for

• Must have a university or college degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Must have 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
• Must have at least 3 years of prior management experience.
• Must have strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Support, or DevOps.
• Must have proven ability to lead teams in high-availability, enterprise environments.
• Must have deep understanding of incident, problem, and change management frameworks.
• Must have hands-on knowledge of monitoring tools, cloud/infrastructure platforms, and automation.
• Experience with OCP, MongoDB, Cassandra, Oracle, SQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka is a plus (preferred).
