Software Engineering Lead, Development Support

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Development Support Engineers.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for critical customer and production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions for system failures.
• Resolve complex technical issues across application, infrastructure, database, cloud, and integration layers.
• Develop tools and automation to reduce support burden and improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in major incident management and conduct post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system resiliency, observability, and maintainability.
• Provide hands-on software development, debugging, and code reviews across multiple technology stacks.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience is required.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
• Proven experience providing advanced L3/Tier 4 support for enterprise applications is required.
• Strong software development background with experience troubleshooting and resolving production issues is required.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives is required.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, IIS, .NET, Azure, and cloud-based application architectures is required.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability tools is required.
• Skills such as Application Development, Business Management, and User Experience (UX) Design are preferred.
