Software Engineering Lead

What you'll do

• Design and develop high-performance calculation engines and services for processing large-scale fixed income data.
• Architect analytics services while balancing system latency, throughput, cost, and accuracy.
• Implement end-to-end data lineage, reconciliation, anomaly detection, and auditability across all models.
• Develop and deploy AI-driven solutions and machine learning models to enhance financial data processing.
• Lead the modernization of existing systems by adopting new technologies to improve scalability and performance.
• Mentor junior developers and lead a team of engineers and quantitative developers.
• Establish technical best practices through code reviews and architecture discussions to ensure system reliability.

What we're looking for

• Over 10 years of experience in Enterprise Java Development including JVM tuning and memory management.
• Experience with the Spring ecosystem or comparable frameworks like Quarkus, Micronaut, or Jakarta EE.
• Expertise in distributed systems architecture, microservices, RESTful APIs, and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience building and integrating AI/ML models and generative AI into enterprise platforms.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for scalable infrastructure.
• Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
• Proven expertise in fixed income system design and analytics.
• Ability to work independently and lead greenfield platform buildouts in an Agile environment.
