Lead Software Development Engineering

What you'll do

• Define and drive the technology vision, architecture strategy, and modernization roadmap for enterprise platforms.
• Design and architect next-generation cloud-native products using microservices, APIs, and event-driven integration patterns.
• Lead architecture reviews and establish technology standards to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.
• Drive the adoption of modern cloud platforms, containerization, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices.
• Develop multi-year architecture roadmaps and evaluate emerging technologies to align with business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across multiple software engineering teams.
• Deliver scalable LLM, NLP, and RAG solutions to accelerate business outcomes and AI adoption.
• Ensure all architecture solutions meet regulatory, security, and healthcare compliance requirements.

What we're looking for

• Must have a degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Must have 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years of architecture and technical leadership across complex, distributed systems.
• Must have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud-native architecture, and large-scale enterprise platforms.
• Must have strong experience with REST APIs, API gateways, event-driven architectures, Kafka, messaging, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Must have hands-on expertise in Azure, AWS, or GCP, including Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and resiliency patterns.
• Must have experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, test automation, architecture governance, and engineering best practices.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer support or sponsorship.
• Master’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering).
