JOB TITLE: Staff Software Engineer, Sr. Consultant (Agentic AI, Cloud, LLM, API)
As a Staff Software Engineer, Sr. Consultant within the Commercial and Money Movement Solutions organization, you will join a multi-functional development team to invent, design, and build software products. You will lead technical initiatives to architect AI-powered solutions that solve engineering productivity challenges and enhance customer-facing products for B2B, B2C, P2P, and G2C flows. Your daily work involves leveraging agentic AI, LLMs, and machine learning to automate workflows and improve software quality. You will utilize technologies including Java, C#, C++, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Angular, and React. Key responsibilities include designing scalable microservices, managing API designs, and integrating AI capabilities into commercial payment and money movement systems to solve complex distributed systems problems and improve developer productivity.
Design and architect AI-powered solutions to solve engineering productivity challenges and enhance customer-facing products.
Lead technical initiatives leveraging agentic AI, LLMs, and machine learning to automate workflows and improve software quality.
Develop scalable platforms and services that integrate AI capabilities into commercial payment and money movement systems.
Drive experimentation with emerging AI technologies and make technical decisions on adoption and standards.
Work directly with product owners to gather and refine requirements for new features and existing tools.
Develop and design advanced architectural solutions that integrate AI capabilities with the existing technical ecosystem.
Provide domain expertise for the development of technical documentation and standard processes.
Deliver new features across products from end-to-end for B2B, B2C, P2P, and G2C flows.
What we're looking for
Must have 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, 5+ years with an Advanced Degree, 2+ years with a PhD, or 11+ years of experience.
Preferred: experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, with an Advanced Degree, or with a PhD.
Preferred: Master's degree in a related field with experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field with experience.
Preferred: Experience with AI agent frameworks, LLMs, or generative AI applications like Claude or GPT.
Preferred: Knowledge of AI-powered development tools or experience applying AI to solve engineering and customer-facing challenges.
Preferred: Understanding of commercial payments, money movement, B2B payables, or payment processing.
Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), API design, microservices, and distributed systems.
Preferred: Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives and expertise in languages such as Java, C#, or C++.
